Week of August 27-31

We've made it to Week 3 and now is the time to start learning what a budget is and developing one. The plan for the week is above. We're going to first learn how to use GoogleSheets in order to maximize our budget creations meaning: you're going to make something that will do all the math for you!

Note: On Wednesday, I am going to be out. Mr. Gersten is your sub. Be good, I know you will. You will be working on the Google Applied Digital Skills activity on Google Classroom all week. Take your time, rewatch videos if you are confused. Bring HEADPHONES if you have them. I only have a few loaner pairs.

Week of August 20-24

It's Week Two and we're getting down to the nitty-gritty with our products!
You should, by now, be comfortable with your product and be ready to begin the process of "Market Research".

If you aren't comfortable with your product, you will have time this week to rework it. You may not have time to start from scratch, but you will be able to make edits and improvements based on what we do this week.

Deep breaths, here is what our week together looks like:

Week of August 13-17

Welcome to Jurassic Park the 6th Grade Technology Blog!

This blog is designed so that you can find the answer to that age old question, "What are we doing in class today?!" Each week, I'll post what we are going to be doing during the week. I'll also post links to materials you might find helpful, interesting, or maybe even a little bit funny.

In Technology, I utilize GoogleClassroom for assignments. The link to our Google Classroom can be found in the sidebar on the right side of the screen. You'll use Google Classroom to turn in your assignments and find instructions for those assignments. I will cross-post things that will be important, but it is your responsibility to check the blog and Google Classroom to make sure you haven't forgotten anything.

Oh, and if you come into class asking, "What are we doing in class today?" my answer might just be, "Check the blog!"
